Refractive Surgeon Dr. Michael A. Rosenberg has been Vice Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University since 1983. Dr. Rosenberg attended Brandeis University and Northwestern University Medical School. He did his residency in Ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Dr. Rosenberg completed fellowships in Neuro-Ophthalmology (University of California-San Francisco) and Refractive Surgery (University of Monterey).
Dr. Rosenberg is a frequent lecturer and has been on the program at many national meetings, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, speaking on medical and surgical topics. He has authored many articles and book chapters in the ophthalmic literature.
Dr. Rosenberg has been cited as one of the top doctors in Chicago by Chicago Magazine, and recognized in the book, "Best Doctors in America".
